Love this place! This is hands down an original Hawaiian establishment. Food is great, especially the Poke Bowls. And shout out to whoever makes the Taro Malasadas (cream filled and plain), these were one of the best Malasadas I’ve ever had! That being said, be sure to come early for the Malasadas, because they sell out quick, like before 9am!!!

The best poke on Kauai! We came here 3 times during our 4-day trip to Kauai. Their spicy ahi poke is excellent! It's popular among locals too.

This place is crazy popular and for value I see why. We got there at 11 and the line was inside the store, when we left 20 min later the parking lot was full. No place to eat inside, and no tables outside so take it to go or eat in your car. I got the $8.95 chicken and shrimp plate. Two pieces of shrimp and chicken and rice. My wife got the Toridon, poki over rice with potato salad with chicken. It was too much for us to finish. So much poki. I brought home one piece of chicken. Food is awesome - fresh and very tasty. Mom and Pop atmosphere. It's a takeaway place. Service was fast. Line was fairly long but moved fast. There were many of us who ate in the car in the parking lot. Plenty of place for parking but very busy during lunch hour. We ordered Toridon and Chinese shrimp and fried chicken. Spicy tuna poke waa delicious. Ginger fried chicken was tasty. Loved the crucnchy skin on it. Plenty to eat with leftovers. I think you can order Toridon and share. We would definitely go again.

Great poke and despite having a line it was quick to get your food. Got the 2 scoop poke bowl and a quarter of ocean salad. I really enjoyed the spicy ahi and the shrimp and crab butter airlines. Plus there's a parking lot, so it's easy to get in and out.

I asked the bellboy Bryce at the Marriott Kauai Beach Resort for his recommendation and he suggested Konohiki Seafood. We got takeout and ordered several different kinds of poke along with their ginger fried chicken. Everything was delicious. The poke was fresh and well prepared, and the chicken had great flavor and texture. Just a heads up for other visitors—this is counter service only, and everything is paid for up front, including small things like paper plates and utensils. We’re not used to being charged for those back home, so that felt a little surprising. Still, the quality of the food made it a worthwhile stop and we’re glad we got a local recommendation.

10/10 recommend coming here for poke and their platters! We stopped by incredibly hungry after our flight and it did not disappoint. It’s takeout only fyi. We tried the shoyu tuna, the Chinese plate, the kalua pork plate, the kimchi marinated crabs and Maya’s fiyah (not 100% sure how it was spelled) and they were all incredible. The flavors did still allowed the fresh fish to shine and it wasn’t over seasoned. The ginger fried chicken was super crunchy, not too greasy or breaded and very juicy. We will most certainly be back before we leave Kauai!

So good I went here twice during my stay. Fresh fish and friendly service. A must check out when on island. Small parking lot out front. Go early for all the goodies. Take out only.
